TRAIL COMPETITION & GAITED DEMONSTRATION

April 27, 2002 is the first scheduled Trail Competition-Gait Demonstration.  Scheduled for that day will be an Arena Style Competition, with a Demonstration of different Horses doing variation of the Gait- Run Walk, Saddle Gait, Show Walk, Rack, and Show Style Rack.

There will also be a Trail Ride, Registration Day, Membership Drive, Raffle, Auction and a Supper of Brown Beans, Cornbread, Fried Potatoes, Sauerkraut & Wieners-also a Dessert. 

Support your Organization; get involved by bringing a friend or two, or more!!!  Come enjoy the weather, the friends, or make new friends.  All are welcomed.  Come Ride & Talk about KNGHA Horses!

This will all be filmed for a Promotion Tape.

Committees:

On March 10, 2002 several committees were formed.  The focus of this meeting was to re-visit the various committees and to re-establish the primary committees.  The committees that are active are Show Committee, Magazine Committee, Genetics Committee, History Committee, Adv/Promotional Committee, and Youth Incentive Committee.  These committees are essential to the growth of the organization.  If there is a committee that might be of interest to you please contact any BOD.

The association is contemplating publishing a magazine.  Discussion has been focused on doing two magazines a year to begin with, a Spring-Summer, and Fall-Winter issue.  At this time a Fall-Winter magazine is being worked on through the committee.   

In order to put out a successful interesting and informative magazine, the committee needs advertisements, articles, pictures and human-interest stories.  This magazine will be mailed to all the KNGHA members.  Extra magazines will be ordered to pass out at certain functions such as Horse Fairs.  If you are interested in advertising or in assisting with the magazine contact Judy at 606-743-7173.

The association will acknowledge the individual that supports the association most by showing in KNGHA Horse Show classes.  An award will be given to the individual that participates in the most KNGHA classes.  The participant isn’t required to win the classes.  The person entering the most KNGHA classes for the year 2002 will be the winner.  Show your support by showing your KNGHA horse.

Place a classified ad on the web----25 words with a photograph on the  KNGHA web page= $25.00 and will run for 60 days. 

$15.00 for 25 words without a photo and will run for 60 days.

NOTE:  Stallion listings with a photo is free of charge for registered KNGHA Stallions.
