The internet is one of the strongest forms of promotion in today’s society.  Today is your chance to take part in the wave of the future at no additional cost.

The association is listing the stallion and farm directory free of charge.  The mare showcase coming this spring will also be free.  The registry pays for the web page and the web master with the registry’s funds (with money from registrations and membership dues).  It is your money that is paying for this promotion so take advantage.  Send in your stallion and mare photos as well as your farm/ranch listing today in order to share with others what an outstanding product you have.

PROMOTION OF THE BREED:

Kentucky Natural Gaited Horse Association’s promotional advertisement that is currently running in the TRAIL RIDER MAGAZINE is spreading the word of the organization and the breed.  There have been inquiries from Mississippi, Wisconsin, Nevada, Missouri, Ohio, Colorado, Iowa, New Mexico, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, and Texas.  This advertisement is working well but we need more magazines to promote through.  If you have any suggestions please notify any BOD.

ATTENTION  REGISTRATION PAPERS:

All the registration papers have been re-issued under the name Kentucky Natural Gaited Horse.  If there are any mistakes on your new registration papers or you haven’t received them contact the registry.  Indicate the error-s and return the papers to the association.  The errors will be corrected and returned to you.  Notify the registry at KNGHA, P.O. Box 420 Morehead, KY 40351 or call 606-743-7173.

2002 MOUNTAIN HORSE AND GAITED HORSE CELEBRATION:

The KNGHA has been invited to the Horse Show at West Liberty, KY.  Our association has two “2” classes.  The classes are number 13 (Stallions) and number 21 (Mares and Geldings).  The premiums are $30.00, $20.00, $15.00, and $10.00.  At the April BOD meeting the directors and members present decided to double the amount of premiums for the KNGHA classes.  KNGHA will match the premiums given for the association’s classes.  Come and participate, pull together and make KNGHA classes outstanding.  Help build your horse registry of the future.

GAIT DEMONSTRATION AND MEMBERSHIP MEETING:

Where:             Francis Mountain Farm, West Liberty, KY.

When:              July 14, 2002

                        Gait Demonstration= 12:00 p.m.

                        Membership Meeting= 2:00 p.m.

The gait demonstration will be judged.  Prizes will be given to first place through fifth place.  This will be video taped for the promotional tape. 

Lunch will be provided.

Come and support the association’s functions and enjoy a day of fun.
